Our Events
Business Breakfast
Business Breakfast
The Business Breakfast series provides an excellent opportunity to network with fellow professionals from across the region. From energy to the economy and motivation to marketing, these events cover a wide range of business topics relevant to the North-east of Scotland.
With approximately 185 delegates at each Business Breakfast, there is opportunity to raise your company’s profile by engaging with others and making new connections during the networking break. Discussion is encouraged and stimulated by the Chair, with the floor open to you to voice your opinion or ask questions of any of the speakers.
“Really enjoyed the Business Breakfast this morning - great chats with speakers afterwards as well. See you next week.”
To find out more about co-sponsorship opportunities available at Business Breakfasts please contact Seona Shand, Head of Membership, or click here.
Organised by the Chamber in association with

BG Group, A-Line, Northsound Radio, The Press & Journal and Technip
City Connections
City Connections
Come and experience the ‘ultimate business network’ first hand at a City Connections networking event.
Networking at the coalface can be the ultimate tool to promote your business to potential new customers in order to generate sales or raise awareness, or even to maintain relationships with existing customers. For many businesses, it's by far the most cost-effective form of marketing.
At each of the City Connections lunches you'll have some time over the main course to tell guests at your table about your company before hearing about theirs; you'll then move to a new table meet more delegates over dessert and repeat the process. Following lunch, many delegates remain and continue to network.
“Great event I met some old and new faces which has been good for business. I picked up some good leads which will hopefully turn into business.”

Shire Connections
Shire Connections
Working with Aberdeenshire Council, the Chamber organise and run five Shire Connections events each year focusing on topics that are relevant to individuals and businesses situated within Aberdeenshire.
After the success of the 2011 series, which focused on a range of subjects such as entrepreneurship and social media, we will be bringing another series of networking events to a number of towns around the region during 2012.
To find out more about co-sponsorship opportunities please contact Seona Shand, Head of Membership, or click here.
“I thoroughly enjoyed the event, the speakers were excellent, and I made some good contacts which I am following up over the next couple of days. Well done.”

Lunch 'n' Learns
Lunch 'n' Learns
The lunch ‘n’ learn events provide great networking opportunities and are an excellent forum for making new business contacts in just a few minutes. A wide variety of delegates from different business sectors attend each occasion and the emphasis is on business benefits. Aberdeen & Grampian Chamber of Commerce co-ordinate the event from conception to completion on behalf of our members.
If you are interested in holding a Lunch 'n' Learn please contact Seona Shand, Head of Membership, or click here.
Speed Networking
Speed Networking
Speed Networking is a highly popular lunchtime event which allows busy delegates to expand their networks by meeting a maximum number of people within a short period of time. This quick method of making valuable connections provides an effective alternative to cold calls and impersonal emails and avoids those horrible awkward silences.
Speed Networking is ideal for business men and women with busy schedules who simply need a quick fix to networking.
The format is a bit different to our regular networking events – the best way to describe it is as ‘speed dating’ but instead of narrowing down the options and picking ‘the one’, you will broaden your connections by increasing your exposure and gaining an extended web of business contacts.
“I find speednetworking very beneficial to Ideas In Partnership. It gives me a chance to meet any current and new businesses and make good contacts. It is time well spent and an excellent networking opportunity. “
Alison Murray, PA to Director/Office Manager Ideas in Partnership
