Aberdeen Agency Nominated for Top Award

Aberdeen based entertainment agency Elite Promotions have again been named as a finalist in the prestigious VOWS awards.

The VOWS (Voted Outstanding Wedding Supplier) is an awards body that was set up in 2005 to recognise all types of companies in Scotland that offer excellent customer service within the wedding industry. They are one of only four nominations from the Aberdeen area with The Palm Court Hotel & Meldrum House Hotel both being nominated in the same category of Wedding Venue of The Year. Deeside Photographics of Banchory have also been nominated in their category. Of the 99 nominations in the 20 separate categories only five are from the North of Scotland.

“This is the fourth consecutive year we have been nominated and we are hoping we can repeat our success in 2009 when we actually won the award. The awards will be announced at a black tie dinner attended by 700 industry professionals in early November which we are certainly looking forward to.” said Elite’s John Anderson

Elite is the largest entertainment agency in the North of Scotland and they are also behind ‘The Events Event’, an exhibition for the events industry that will take place at the Aberdeen Exhibition & Conference Centre on the 19th January 2012.
