Aberdeen Company is in Top Ten Places to Work in Scotland

Leading Aberdeen recruitment company, Thorpe Molloy Recruitment, has been ranked as sixth best employer in Scotland at the inaugural Scotland’s Best Workplace Award.

Thorpe Molloy Recruitment was also shortlisted in two special category awards. The Excellence in Leadership category recognises leaders that demonstrate strong leadership qualities by being accessible to employees, encouraging two-way dialogue and integrity in matching words with action. The Excellence in Diversity category recognises companies which demonstrate a genuine sense of meritocracy in the workplace.

The Great Place to Work Institute evaluates the degree of trust in relationships from responses to the Trust Index Employee Survey, which was completed by Thorpe Molloy Recruitment employees, and the Culture Audit management survey which is an analysis of the value system, policies and practices that support organisational culture. Two thirds of the final ranking score came from the Trust Index, ensuring that success is based firmly on the voice of employees.

Amanda McCulloch, Managing Director at Thorpe Molloy Recruitment says, “We were very pleased to participate in a national programme which benchmarks performance, illustrating areas of strength and improvement which we can now take back as development actions to the business. We are absolutely delighted to have ranked so highly. The results support our belief that we work in an atmosphere of trust, camaraderie and strong team dynamic.”
