ABERDEEN RELOCATIONS EXPERTS SPONSOR LIONS CLUB INTERNATIONAL FUN DAY

Leading relocation specialist Crown Relocations is proud to announce that it is a principle sponsor of the Lions Club International Fun Day (held on Sunday 29 May at Duthie Park) for the fourth year running. The Aberdeen branch of the relocations company has contributed towards sponsorship of the annual event in order to make it an even bigger success than 2010.

The free fun day – which aims to unite different cultures and communities within the region – has received a donation from Crown Relocations as well as dedicated time and support from the Aberdeen-based team. Staff have set up a dedicated ‘Crown Team’ and have attended committee meetings, helped with the coordination of the day, distributed leaflets and assisted in the promotion of the event in order to spread the message to families in the greater community and the ever growing Expat communities of Aberdeen.

Jolene Paterson, Business Development Manager at Crown Relocations Aberdeen, commented: “The International Fun Day is a great way to celebrate and bring together the diverse cultures of Aberdeen and we are very glad to be part of it for the fourth year in a row. Crown Relocations helped more than 100,000 families relocate worldwide last year so we know that experiencing and adjusting to a new culture is an important factor in any move. Events of this kind help people to feel part of the local community so the team involved have taken great pride in knowing that they have helped to support that.”

Crown Relocations will have an information stall at the event for anyone looking for advice on moving abroad, repatriating or settling in to a different culture. The highly-anticipated event promises to reach out to wider communities this year, so in addition to the family fun element (consisting of stalls, games, entertainment and multicultural food), there is also an evening fashion event with the attendance of Lord Provost to cater to a more mature international audience.
