ACSEF 2009 Economic Review
The 2009 Economic Review for Aberdeen City & Shire has now been posted on the ACSEF website. The complete report can be viewed at http://acsef.org.uk/
The report is one of a set of Scottish Enterprise commissioned Economic Reviews covering the 5 Scottish Enterprise regions and Scotland overall. The review analyses Aberdeen City & Shire's economic performance with specific reference to the region's contribution to the Government's Economic Strategy Purpose Targets and a section on the economic outlook for the region linked to the current economic conditions. The economic review will assist in providing a valuable evidence base for underpinning the ACSEF Economic Action Plan, particularly in the context of economic growth performance, productivity and key industry sector contribution to the region's and indeed Scotland's economy. Interestingly, in terms of GVA growth the outlook is for the region's performance to recover from 2010 attaining annual growth of 2.4% by 2012. This is approaching the ACSEF Plan's target growth rate of 2.5% per annum GVA growth over the period of the plan. |
