ACVO to Launch Business PlanACVO (Aberdeen Council of Voluntary Organisations) will launch its new business plan at an event on Thursday 28th April.
ACVO became the Aberdeen Third Sector Interface last year, providing support to and representation for charities, voluntary groups and not-for-profit organisations within the city. The new business plan, which is the result of a year of extensive consultation, reflects this new role, identifying changes to ACVO’s operational procedures and highlighting their strategic objectives for the next three years.
Changes include an organisational restructure, with staff roles being grouped into three business units: Enterprise and Sustainability; Stronger and More Connected Voices; and Voluntary Action and Active Citizenship. These units are supported by the Communications and Support and Development teams.
The new business plan also outlines changes to the ACVO membership structure and to ACVO’s monitoring, evaluation and reporting processes, ensuring that the organisation is focused and functioning smoothly.
The new business plan will be launched at an event at ACVO’s offices in Greyfriars House, Gallowgate from 12noon-2pm on Thursday 28th April. Those wishing to attend are asked to confirm to enquiries@acvo.org.uk.
