Government's Comprehensive Spending Review

The UK’s battered economy hasn’t held back an award-winning Aberdeen firm that is now in the running to win a top business accolade.

Offshore pipe leak detection pioneer Flexlife, has picked up the Scottish Award for Innovation Through Technology, sponsored by Dell, in the British Chambers of Commerce National Awards 2010.

The business will now go through to battle it out for the UK-wide national trophy in the BCC Awards ceremony in London next month.

The wait will be over for the 35 finalists in this year’s Northern Star Business Awards, when they gather at the AECC on Thursday (Sept 23) for the gala dinner and awards ceremony.
