AKE Publishes New Risk Report on Libya

LONDON – International security and risk mitigation company AKE has published a new report outlining security, travel and political risks in Libya. The report is aimed at helping the many companies looking to do business in the country.

The situation remains in a state of flux with an uncertain outlook for its security and political risk environment. There is ongoing fighting and the country assigned one of the highest security risk ratings on AKE's 1-100 scale (whereby 100 is the most hazardous score).

However, AKE expects conditions to improve if the National Transitional Council (NTC) manages to tackle the remaining pro-Gaddafi loyalist elements, but for now utmost caution is recommended by those seeking to work in the country.

The report contains real-time security information, analysis, risk assessment material, location-specific updates, tribal descriptions, medical information, travel advice and an archived database of intelligence updates spanning the past eight years.

It has been compiled by AKE analysts from the intelligence department in London, as well as AKE security specialists operating throughout Libya. It has been published on AKE Intelligence website Global Intake and can be purchased for £180 here.
