A paragraph about your background:

My personal background is that I’m from Edinburgh, and I live in Aberdeen with my wife, Shiona. Professionally, I’ve been a training consultant since 2000. Before that I was an operational manager in a service organisation for 18 years with a background in Computing, Training and Operations. A good mix on which I base most of my training, which is very experiential.

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?

Outdoor stuff. Hillwalking, travel, photography, music, wine and food. Sometimes all at the same time, and usually with Her Ladyship.

If you were a crayon, what colour would you be?

Black. Then I’d be a pencil too. Who says men can’t multi-task.

What animal would you be and why?

Something in the cat family. What a life. Sleep a lot, eat, go out and play. No mortgage.

What would you do if you won the lottery?

Invest a third; blow a third; and do some good with the rest.

What’s your favourite film and why?

Pulp Fiction. The height of cool, and you can watch it heaps of times and still find new things to laugh at. One of these days I’ll count the number of times SLJ says the “M” word.
