"Velosi is now part of Applus' huge global network providing clients with specialist staff and the capability to meet local content laws, and other regional considerations, across complementary core services in asset integrity including NDT, maintenance, rope access, research and development." Applus Group purchased AIM-listed Velosi earlier in 2011. It also operates from bases in Stavanger, Norway and Esbjerg, Denmark, with a further divisional office in Copenhagen. Included in the UK operation is the company's specialist high-rope training facility, at Falkirk, which is an internationally renowned centre of excellence for the discipline, responsible for producing experts in testing, maintenance and monitoring at height – key disciplines in work on rigs and FPSOs. 219 views
