Ardoe House Hotel Hosts I’m a Celeb-Themed Party

A North-east hotel is encouraging guests to add a jungle twist to their Christmas as they prepare to host an I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here event.

Following the recent series of the popular TV show, Mercure Aberdeen Ardoe House Hotel and Spa is set to challenge guests to some of the show’s famous bushtucker trials.

For the last few weeks, celebrities have been battling it out in the Australian jungle facing numerous toe-curling challenges and the show makes for addictive viewing. Now, the people of the North-east will be tested on their stamina.

Those brave enough to take part will be invited to test their nerves at guessing the contents of mystery boxes by touch only and tasting some expertly prepared creepy creatures.

Ardoe House General Manager, John Shevlin, said: “We’re very excited to hold this event at Ardoe, and look forward to welcoming guests to a very non-traditional Christmas event. We promise our challenges won’t be as extreme as those featured on the reality show, but guests will be still have to show their strength in some very unusual tasks throughout the evening.”

Guests will receive a cocktail upon arrival and enjoy a three-course meal before the challenges begin. Following the trials, there will be a disco until 1am.

Groups of all sizes are welcome at the event, which is taking place on the evening of Thursday, 22 December. Tickets are £29.50 per person, and can be booked by calling Ardoe House on 01224 860600.
