Brewin Dolphin bolsters its investment management teamTwo members of the Brewin Dolphin team in Aberdeen have been promoted to investment managers after reaching a major milestone with industry body, the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI). The promotions bolster Brewin Dolphin’s position as one of the largest and most qualified investment management teams in the North-east of Scotland. The company’s Aberdeen office now has nine investment managers and four financial planners.
Carrie Keenan and Susanne Evans have each been promoted after attaining the crucial ‘private client investment advice and management’ component of their CISI Diploma.
Bruce Angus, head of office and a divisional director at Brewin Dolphin in Aberdeen, said: “Carrie and Susanne’s success significantly builds on the strength of our investment management team and, together with our financial planning experts, reinforces our market-leading position. Brewin Dolphin also has one of the highest levels of individuals who have been awarded Personal Chartered Status compared with any other company in Aberdeen.
“The CISI is the professional body which represents the securities and investment industry with its diploma being the UK's benchmark finance qualification for those managing and advising on private client assets, while Royal Chartered Status recognises an individual’s enhanced standing within the sector.”
Brewin Dolphin, which has 40 offices throughout the UK and Channel Islands including Aberdeen, Inverness, Elgin and Dundee, has £25billion under its management. The company offers complete wealth management services which combine financial planning expertise with their position as one of the largest independent private client investment managers in the UK. 168 views
