Bristle do nicely for JAMstudio fundraiser

A North-east business is on a ’tasche cash mission to raise funds for cancer charities.

Staff at award-winning architectural design consultancy JAMstudio are taking part in the national ‘Movember’ campaign that urges people to have moustaches during the month of November.

Money raised by JAMstudio, based at Fetternear, Inverurie, will go prostrate and testicular cancer charities.

JAMstudio director John Wingate said: “You could say we’re all bristling with enthusiasm for Movember. It’s all been good fun, while at the same time raising awareness in the office and with clients about these important issues.”

The end of Movember is marked across the United Kingdom, and around the world, with a series of Gala Partés. The Aberdeen event is being held at the Amicus Apple bar on Langstane Place. For more information and tickets visit:

Movember is responsible for the sprouting of moustaches on thousands of men’s faces in the UK and around the world. The aim of which is to raise vital funds and awareness for men’s health, specifically prostate cancer and other cancers that affect men. In 2010, £11.7m was raised in the UK alone.
