Businesses in Aberdeen City and Shire encouraged to grasp the ThistlesStill time to enter the Scottish Thistle AwardsTourism businesses from Aberdeen City and Shire are being encouraged to enter the regional heats for the new look Scottish Thistle Awards with the deadline for entries fast approaching. A change in format will see businesses go through to a regional ceremony in Aberdeen in May, with the winners from the event going through to a national face-off with the winners from the other regions in November.
Shona Anderson, Regional Director for VisitScotland said: “These awards seek to recognise the excellent work that the region’s tourism industry does on a day-to-day basis. The new format allows all businesses, no matter how small, to get involved in this prestigious event and not only show that they are best from their area but possibly also the best in the country - log on to www.scottishthistleawards.co.uk before 2nd March to make sure you don’t miss this amazing opportunity.”
The ceremony for the North East region will take place on the 15th May at the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre. 84 views
