Charity Thanks Inspiring Design Company

A North East based charity has said thanks to a local design company who gifted it a brand new website.

Inspire, which supports hundreds of individuals with learning disabilities and additional support needs throughout the Grampian area, is due to officially launch the website, donated by Greybar Design on the 8th August.

“We’re really excited about the launch of this inspiring and innovative website which was so generously donated by Greybar”, said Fiona Poustie, Head of Business Development & Fundraising at Inspire, “Inspire is a trail-blazing organisation and for a long time now our website has been at best archaic and outdated, and is extremely difficult to navigate around particularly for those individuals with disabilities or those who are not computer savvy”.

The website, which will be launched in line with a new e-marketing strategy, will be used both to promote the charity and as an information tool for people with disabilities, their families & carers and health professionals.

“Greybar Design has been working with Inspire for over a year now and we’re delighted to have been able to offer advice on their e-marketing strategy and to donate this website free of charge”, said Steve Duguid, Managing Director of Greybar Design, “Our brief was to create an eye-catching site which would be accessible to as many people as possible. With this in mind, the new website will a forum for people supported by Inspire to share information and ideas, and has special features such as browsealoud. It’s been an inspiring time working with the staff at the charity who do such a fantastic job in supporting folks with disabilities. We’re very proud to have been part of it and hope that this new website will go someway towards encouraging inclusion and improving the situation of those individuals who rely upon Inspire”.

The launch of www.inspireonline.org.uk, will be marked with a balloon race for children at 1.30pm on the 8th August at Codonas. Hundreds of balloons will be released by Steve Duguid and Charlie Innes, Managing Director of Innes Associates, a PR company which also supports Inspire. Members of the public are invited to go along and buy a balloon for £1. For further information, call 01224 289011.
