City centre street closures for gas works

Traffic restrictions will be in place on Virginia Street and Shore Brae from Monday 04 July for up to five weeks to allow gas main works to go ahead.

Shore Brae and the eastbound lane of Virginia Street will be closed to traffic. On the approach to the works, the right-hand turning lane from Market Street into Virginia Street will be coned off.

During the closure period there will be a suspension of the one-way restriction on Exchequer Row.
