City road to close for work at new housing development

Aberdeen’s Summer Street is set to close on three separate occasions to allow a heavy duty crane to access a new housing development.

The road will close between number 49 Summer Street and 37 Summer Street on 27 October (Thursday) and 28 October (Friday).

The closure will also be enforced between 15 November (Tuesday) and 17 November (Thursday), and again between 6 December (Tuesday) and 8 December (Thursday).

For the duration of the works no vehicle will be allowed to park at any time on both sides of the same stretch of road.

The existing one-way restriction on Summer Street will be suspended during the closures.

Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible.
