CLAN CANCER SUPPORT LOOKS FORWARD TO ANNUAL FAMILY FUN DAYAn Aberdeen cancer support charity is hosting its very last family fun day at its current home next month. CLAN Cancer Support will welcome families to the popular event on Saturday, June 18, which will be last time the charity has its fun day at its Caroline Place centre.
The event, which takes place from 11am to 2.30pm, will feature a number of fun activities for every member of the family to enjoy, including face painting, a magician and a bouncy castle. Entertainment on the day will include local rat pack trio, Oceans 3, and the Guarana drummers.
Eileen Wheeler, counselling and family services manager at CLAN Cancer Support said: “The family fun day is always one of the most popular events in the CLAN calendar, and I’m sure this year will be extra special as it will be the last one held at CLAN House in Caroline Place, which has been our home since 1996.
“The event is an opportunity for children and their families to take part in a free, fun event. It is also an opportunity for us to highlight our services for children and families affected by cancer.
“We look forward to welcoming families on June 18, and I’m sure that a fantastic time will be had by all on the day!”
