Cleaning specialist Contract Solutions Grampian (CSG) makes its fourth acquisition in 20 months

Contract Solutions Grampian (CSG) Limited, a leading commercial cleaning company, has made its fourth acquisition in the past 20 months.

Aberdeen-based CSG has acquired Ice Clean Limited, a cleaning company specialising in serviced and leased properties. The company’s 9 staff and all its contracts will now come under the CSG banner.

Ice Clean becomes the fourth North-east business purchased by ambitious CSG following the acquisition of Bon Accord Cleaning Services, Norsco Facilities and Thorough Clean.

Combined the four companies acquired have a total turnover of more than £1m and 100 staff. The value of this latest deal is not being disclosed.

Contract Solutions Grampian now has more than 300 staff working on more than 300 contracts from Angus to Lerwick, including its core territory of Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire.

Calum Johnston, commercial director at CSG, said: “This latest acquisition has been driven by customer requests and the opportunity to acquire Ice Clean came at the perfect time.

“We’ve developed the business through organic growth and acquisitions. As well as taking on Ice Clean staff, we are also looking to expand our management team and we wouldn’t rule out acquiring more companies in future.

“CSG is doing well at the moment but we must not be complacent. It’s vital to continue to deliver a first-class and reliable service to our customers.”

Dyce-based CSG provides high-quality daily office cleaning and housekeeping services to small, medium and large firms in sectors including legal, finance and energy, along with a range of specialist services including window, floor and computer cleaning, waste and landscape management and hygiene services.
