Community Engagement Event at Mearns Academy

Date: Wednesday August 24

Venue: Mearns Academy, Laurencekirk

Time: 6.45pm for 7pm

Aberdeenshire Council is pleased to invite you to join us at our next community engagement event, focussing on the local economy, developed as part of our ongoing dialogue with communities. This session is primarily aimed at businesses in South Aberdeenshire (Portlethen, Stonehaven, Laurencekirk and surrounding communities).

Local businesses and communities play an important role for Aberdeenshire Council and these events are an important platform to develop and build these relationships. In the coming months we will be hosting a series of events across Aberdeenshire, the format being a short presentation followed by a question and answer session.

The Leader of Aberdeenshire Council, Councillor Anne Robertson, the Chief Executive, Colin Mackenzie and a range of other senior officers will be attending these events. We hope to be joined by a wide range of local community representatives including local councillors and community councillors as well as representatives from local businesses, community groups, associations and partnerships.

If you would like to attend please RSVP: Willie Munro, Area Manager (Kincardine & Mearns) Tel: 01569 768200 or by email to william.munro@aberdeenshire.gov.uk
