Cornerstone's EFQM Award
We are delighted to announce that Cornerstone was awarded the prestigious Recognised for Excellence (R4E) award at the recent Scottish Awards for Business Excellence. We were one of only three organisations to achieve R4E, the others were City of Edinburgh Council and Clackmannanshire Council, with the overall winner (5 star level) being Glasgow Housing Association.
Cornerstone is the first charity in Scotland to achieve this award, and it evidences our dedication to ensuring we provide the best possible service to all our customers, particularly the people we support. Cornerstone is one of only fifty five organisations in Scotland to have achieved R4E level since the start of the Awards in 1994. In a European context, Cornerstone are among organisations such as Siemens, Ricoh Europe, Bosch and Volkswagen and other "third sector" organisations such as the RNLI and the Cedar Foundation.
