Councillors approve health and dental centre plansPlans to create a new health and dental centre in Tillydrone have been approved by councillors. The centre is to be built on the site of the concrete all-weather football pitch. The council has already committed to replace it with a new pitch at Ferrier Crescent, using money from the sale of the land to NHS Grampian.
The application was approved following a visit to the site by the Development Management sub-committee.
Vice-convener Councillor John Corall said: “A new health centre, which will include a dentists’ and doctors’ surgery, will be very welcome in the area.
“This change is a good use of the land and will no doubt make a big difference to the local residents. In addition they can also look forward to having a better football pitch provided nearby to replace the old one.” 82 views
