Deeside Beer Festival & Ceilidh a sell out!

The Deeside Beer Festival that was held on Friday 13th May and the Deeside Ceilidh with local ceilidh band Clachan Yell has been hailed a huge success by organisers and attendees. Held at Deeside Activity Park near Aboyne.

“We had over 400 beer drinkers here at the beer festival on Friday night, from 3 pm till 11 pm. It was such a great atmosphere with everyone enjoying the beer, great food and very pleasant evening.” Said Fiona from Deeside Activity Park.

Last year the event only had 12 beers this year it had 18 from Deeside Brewery, Angus Ales and the Burnside Brewery. All went down so well that the beer was almost all sold out by the time the event closed at 11 pm.

“ Deeside Brewery had to give us more beer for Saturday night, the Friday had been so successful. We had over 100 people at the ceilidh enjoying Clachan Yell’s music and one of Ingram’s Roast Hogs!” said Fiona.

“It’s great to see so many people supporting local events and we hope that Deeside Beer Festival and Ceilidh will grow and grow each year. In fact next year is already booked, Friday 11th May for the beer festival and Saturday 12th May for the Deeside Ceilidh with Clachan Yell, so get it in your diaries” said Rob from Deeside Brewery.
