Delays possible at Springfield Road junction

The traffic signals pattern on the Springfield Road/ North Deeside Road junction will be changed for two days this week to keep traffic flowing safely while work is carried out at the site.

Turriff Contractors will be working there on behalf of Scottish Water from 9.30am until 4pm on Tuesday and Wednesday [22 and 23 November].

To allow vehicles to continue to travel in both directions, the traffic signals will be reconfigured to run one arm of the junction at a time. This means it will take longer than usual to pass through the junction and delays are possible.

The travelling public are advised to use a different route if possible and allow extra time for their journeys. The work is being carried out during off-peak hours to minimise disruption.
