DEVEX 2012 INVITES ABSTRACT SUBMISSIONS!

The ninth annual European Production and Development Conference, DEVEX 2012, will be held on the 9th and 10th May, 2012 at the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre, Aberdeen, Scotland.

Following on from the largest DEVEX conference to date in May 2011, plans for the 2012 conference are well underway and the Steering Committee plan to build on the success of the last event to make the 2012 conference even better.

DEVEX is a conference designed for geologists, geophysicists, petrophysicists, reservoir engineers, petroleum engineers, production technologists, well engineers and drilling engineers. It is run jointly by the Petroleum Exploration Society of Great Britain (PESGB), the Society for Petroleum Engineers (SPE), and the Aberdeen Formation Evaluation Society (AFES).

Abstracts for oral or poster presentations are now being sought on the theme ‘Creativity and Innovation in Field Exploitation’. The abstract submission portal is open and submissions are welcomed from all relevant disciplines; ranging from geotechnical to commercial. Case Studies, which form an integral part of DEVEX’s technical programme, are especially welcome.
