DF Communications targets further growth after contract winsDF Communications, the award-winning Aberdeen mobile phones specialist, has secured a series of contracts and is set to expand into the Central Belt. The company, which recently announced a projected 18% rise in turnover, has agreed contracts with several international energy companies. The combined value of the contracts is expected to be in the region of £230,000.
DF Communications has also appointed Jonathan Dobson, who previously worked for a UK mobile phone company, to the role of new business sales for the Central Belt.
Craig Forsyth, sales director at DF Communications, said: “We’re delighted to have secured new contracts as well as retained ones. We have excellent relationships with our clients, whether it’s a one-person business or an international company requiring hundreds of mobile phones.
“We’re looking to take that ethos of first-class service to the Central Belt and have made our first sales appointment.”
Year-on-year turnover is expected to have increased from £1.6m to £1.9m once the company’s 2011 accounts have been completed.
DF Communications was named 2011 winner of the Excellence in Customer Service category at the Northern Star Business Awards at the Press & Journal Arena, Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre. The awards are organised by the Aberdeen and Grampian Chamber of Commerce.
DF Communications also won seven out of eight O2 UK Partner of the Month awards last year following positive reviews for customer feedback, customer retention and new sales.
The company, established in 1986, is based at premises in South College Street, delivers mobile phone and landline solutions, hands-free car solutions and vehicle tracking to local, national and international businesses.
