Empire Secures ISO Standard

A leading Scottish HR and health & safety firm has been awarded ISO 9001:2008 accreditation.

Empire, based in Aberdeen, provides a range of employment law and health & safety support services to a variety of businesses across the UK.

ISO 9001:2008 is an international standard for quality management systems and has only been achieved by around 5% of UK businesses. The standard will ensure that Empire consistently provides a service that meet client needs and regulatory requirements.

Operations Director, Peter-Jon Chalmers, said: “Achieving internationally recognised ISO 9001 standard confirms that Empire offers a quality service to our clients. It sets a standard and gives peace of mind to our customers that we will strive to meet their requirements.

The ISO 9001:2008 was achieved after an extensive investigation and review of Empire’s company procedures and service provision.

The quality management system gives companies the framework to monitor and improve their overall performance.
