Esplanade closure during Race for Life

Beach Esplanade, Links Road and Accommodation Road will be closed to traffic during part of Sunday 03 July to allow the Cancer Research UK Women’s 5km Race for Life to go ahead safely.

Beach Esplanade will be shut from a point south of the Beach Esplanade/Links Road roundabout to the junction with King Street at the Bridge of Don from 6am–2pm. No parking will be allowed on either side of the Esplanade during this period.

Links Road will also be closed from its junction with Urquhart Road to the Esplanade roundabout, and Accommodation Road between the Golf Road and Esplanade junctions, from 6am–2pm.

All vehicles will be allowed through the bus gate at the south end of the Bridge of Don between 6am and 2.30pm to reduce congestion for southbound traffic.
