Finalists Announced for cHeRries AwardsFinalists shortlisted for the prestigious cHeRries Awards have been announced. Now in its fourth year, the annual cHeRries Awards celebrate excellence in HR, Recruitment and Training across the North-east of Scotland. Open to individuals and teams from across the area, the awards are organised by Aberdeen-based event management company, cushydoos, with title sponsor Aberdeen Business School at The Robert Gordon University and Kudos – Employee Benefits as supporting sponsor. The finalists will find out if they’ve been lucky enough to be one of the few ‘cherry picked’ winners at the cHerRies Awards dinner on Thursday, June 2, 2011 at the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre, in front of a sell-out crowd of around 450 people. Karen Reid, director, cushydoos, said: “The HR industry in the North-east plays a crucial role in the success of businesses in the area by ensuring that organisations and the industry retain, develop and recruit the very best staff available. “The cHeRries allow us to celebrate the industry’s successes and recognise some of the fantastic people we have in the profession. We’ve been absolutely delighted that we’re still seeing a tremendous enthusiasm for the awards, both in terms of nominations and the demand for tables and tickets at the event.” Due to popular demand, there is currently a waiting list for tables at the event and only one sponsorship opportunity remains.
