“Finding a new home for Glencraft”

“The Business of Football” Fundraising Dinner – Friday 21st October

Marcliffe at Pitfodels – Aberdeen

As Chairman of Glencraft it gives me great pleasure to invite you to participate in the above event. Since re-opening in April 2010 the Glencraft business has made continual progress towards self delivered sustainability as a profitable social enterprise and a big thank you goes to all those Private and Commercial customers who have supported & continue to support Glencraft through trade which is incredibly important.

One of the major challenges faced by the team is to locate and fund new premises for both factory and retail operations. Our fundraising dinner on 21st October is the latest in a series of events aimed at raising £500,000 towards the cost of our new home.

We have a great night on offer at, quite simply, the best venue in Aberdeen. The theme of our dinner is “The Business of Football” and will combine a range of speakers, from Ray Parlour of Arsenal and Sky Sports, John McRuvie of Aberdeen and NorthSound and Bob Keiller – CEO of Wood Group PSN. Ian Thain will be M.C for the evening and will conduct the auction.

The evening has been generously sponsored by Rainbow City Taxis.

I do hope you’ll be able to support this evening by reserving your table – in addition I would ask that you may like to consider any contribution you might be able to make towards our list of auction items or raffle prizes.

This will be a great night for a great cause and will allow Glencraft to continue to help us all sleep more easily.
