Event: The First Minister is to officially open award-winning company Power Jacks’ impressive, next generation £6million headquarters and manufacturing complex which has been purpose built to meet the company’s rapid global growth. Apprentices at Power Jacks will accompany him on a tour of the facility. The Lord Lieutenant of Aberdeenshire, James Ingleby, will also officially present Power Jacks with its 2010 Queen’s Award for Business Enterprise which was awarded to the company after it increased overseas sales by 246%.
Power Jacks’ rapid global growth resulted in the company moving into its new business hub at Ellon’s Balmacassie Commercial Park.
The three-quarter acre facility features a world-class 40,000 sq ft (3,716 sqm) manufacturing and assembly facility with associated warehousing as well as 10,000 sq ft (930sqm) of office space to accommodate our design and production, engineering, sales, marketing and administration teams.
