Frost & Sullivan Announces New and Emerging Markets Growth Series

LONDON – 18 April, 2011 – Frost & Sullivan is proud to announce its New and Emerging Markets Executive Briefing Series. Frost & Sullivan, with its active and growing presence in emerging markets, will be a key partner to the global industry in helping navigate the next wave of growth in newer emerging markets. The briefings will explore these emerging markets to help companies better understand the challenges, opportunities and on-the ground realities.

Emerging markets are an important part of a company’s growth portfolio and will continue to be a primary growth engine moving forward. As underlined during the recent economic recession, one of the key characteristics of companies that experienced lesser severity in downturn was robust growth from emerging markets.

“The emerging markets are expected to contribute at least 60 percent of global GDP (gross domestic product) by 2020,” says Aroop Zutshi, Frost & Sullivan Global President & Managing Partner. “The emerging markets growth series will allow companies to leverage Frost & Sullivan’s network of emerging market leaders to drive growth.”

In 2011, Frost & Sullivan will present a series of four briefings, each one highlighting two emerging markets. The first briefing, scheduled for Thursday, April 28 at 11:00 a.m. EDT will focus on Brazil and Chile. Future briefings will highlight South Korea, Indonesia, Poland, Russia, Qatar and South Africa.

Participants in the Emerging Market Growth Series will be able to develop a stream of growth ideas on emerging markets and develop actionable insights for their companies. Hosting the Emerging Markets Growth Series along with Aroop Zutshi will be Sath Rao, Vice President of Industrial Automation & Process Control and other Frost & Sullivan regional market experts.
