Grampian Food Forum Innovation Awards 2012 - call to enter

Entries are welcomed for the 22nd annual Grampian Food Forum Innovation Awards, which rewards local food and drink companies for their new product innovations.

Winners will be announced by Peter Marks, Group Chief Executive of The Cooperative Group, at the Grampian Food Forum Innovation Awards Presentation Dinner at the Thainstone Exchange, Inverurie on Thursday 15 March 2012. Mr Marks will chair the panel of judges; joining him on the panel will be Craig Stevenson of Braehead Foods Ltd and freelance journalist, Karen Peattie.

In preparation for the awards, the Grampian Food Forum is hosting a Marketing Workshop on Thursday 19 January at 2pm-6pm at the Barn and Bushel, Thainstone Centre, near Inverurie.

The workshop aims to help companies prepare for both the Innovation Awards and the Scotland Food & Drink Excellence Awards with practical advice on writing marketing plans and press releases as well approaching the media and how to take good food photographs.
