GRANITE CITY COUPLES SET TO SPARKLE AT SHOWBIZ CHARITY EVENTSCOTLAND’S leading children’s charity is set to launch a night of glitz, glamour and live entertainment in Aberdeen. Aberlour Child Care Trust, which runs services across the North-east, will hold Strictly Come Prancing at The Marcliffe Hotel on November 5.
The charity is now seeking a corporate sponsor to come on board and help make the night a big success.
Guests will enjoy a champagne reception, three-course meal and a live floorshow from the great and good of the Granite City.
A string of local couples will take to the floor to each perform a tango before being judged by a celebrity panel, and then the audience itself.
All money raised will go to Aberlour, the largest solely Scottish children’s charity with more than 40 services across the country.
In Aberdeen these include ADAPT which provides outreach support and respite care for children with disabilities and their families, and the Primrosehill Family Centre which works with parents with a learning difficulty and also families affected by substance abuse.
Aberlour fundraising executive Marie-Claire Jones said “We are delighted to bring such a fun and memorable event to the prestigious Marcliffe Hotel.
“At Aberlour we help those who need additional care and support to live as full a life as possible and with your help we can support many more.
“So why not book a table and join us for a night of fine dining and live entertainment?”
Tickets cost £50 and tables seat 12. To book, please call 0845 099 0959. To discuss sponsorship packages, please call Marie-Claire Jones on 07528970553. 157 views
