Hall Morrice Named Best Small Firm in the Scottish Accountancy Awards

Chartered accountancy practice Hall Morrice, which has offices in Aberdeen and Fraserburgh, scooped the title of Best Small Firm in the prestigious 2011 Scottish Accountancy Awards which took place in Glasgow last night (Thursday, 19 May). The Best Small Firm category is open to accountancy firms with less than 150 partners and staff.

Senior Partner Hugh Hall says of the win, “Hall Morrice has continued to grow against the backdrop of the economic downturn. A large proportion of all our new business comes through the extension of the scope of work we offers to current clients and from client base referrals. In 2010 we achieved a £4m turnover, completed 25 deals worth more than £110 million and employed 5 new staff. For this success to be recognised by our peers by being named Best Small Firm in the Scottish Accountancy awards is excellent and this award reflects the quality and scope of the professional service provided by the whole of our hugely dedicated team.”

Hall Morrice, founded in 1976, is one of the Scotland’s leading independent firms of chartered accountants and has offices in both Aberdeen and Fraserburgh. Hall Morrice is based at 6 & 7 Queen’s Terrace in Aberdeen and can be contacted on 01224 647394 or at accounts@hall-morrice.co.uk
