Holyrood HustingsOn May 5, Scotland will go to the polls to elect the next Scottish Parliament. The policies put in place by the new Government will have a huge impact on business over the next few years in the light of likely spending cuts across all sectors. Every party thinks they will be the one to lead Scotland towards a more prosperous future, but they need to convince voters how they plan to do that. Delegates at Aberdeen & Grampian Chamber of Commerce’s Holyrood Hustings Mini Business Breakfast, on Monday April 4, will have the chance to hear candidates from the five key parties outline their policies and will get the chance to challenge those views. Mike Salter, Chairman of the Scottish Chambers of Commerce will chair the debate with Brian Adam (SNP), Martin Ford (Green Party), Alex Johnstone (Conservative), Lewis Macdonald, (Labour) and Mike Rumbles (Lib Dem). The event will be held at Norwood Hall from 7.30-9.30am. Cost is £19 (plus VAT) for members; £28 (plus VAT) for non-members. Book online at www.agcc.co.uk/events or by emailing Natasha.Ross@agcc.co.uk. Delegates can also submit questions in advance by emailing them to events@agcc.co.uk |
