Home Grown Talent Rises To Top At FG BurnettCommercial property company FG Burnett has announced two promotions as it recognises the value of home grown talent. Senior surveyor Dan Smith has been appointed Associate while Kevin Jackson has been promoted to senior surveyor.
Dan Smith joined FG Burnett in 2005 on completing an MSc in Property and Economics at Aberdeen University, qualified as a chartered surveyor (MRICS) in October 2007 and progressed to senior surveyor in 2009, while Kevin Jackson joined the company in 2006 and added to his Masters in Land Economy by gaining MRICS status in 2008.
FG Burnett managing director, Angus MacCuish, said the promotions were recognition of the pair’s involvement in the overall success of the business.
Mr MacCuish said: “Both Dan and Kevin have focussed on developing their careers and sector knowledge to the advantage of our business and our clients. They have made a valuable contribution to maintaining our market leading position in the commercial property sector and I am delighted to be able to reward those efforts with their respective promotions.
“The new roles bring greater responsibilities and demonstrate we offer real career progress for those willing to grasp the opportunities that come their way.”
FG Burnett has also appointed Michelle Stevens as property manager following the recent retirement of Doug Marnoch. Michelle joins from Aberdeen solicitors Raeburn Christie Clark & Wallace and will oversee the company’s expanding portfolio of commercial and residential properties managed on behalf of landlords and proprietors. 128 views
