HOUSEBUIDERS INVITE CULTS COMMUNITY TO COMMENT ON DEVELOPMENTResidents of an Aberdeen suburb have been invited to help shape plans for a housing development in their area. CALA Homes and Stewart Milne Homes have joined forces to host a public exhibition at The Cults Hotel on 8 September from 2pm until 8pm.
Visitors will be able to view plans for land at Friarsfield in Cults, which has already been identified in the adopted Aberdeen Local Plan as a site for residential development.
Mike Naysmith, regional director at CALA Homes, said: “These developments will provide much needed family houses within a popular area of Aberdeen.
“This exhibition is an opportunity for the community to view and comment on our proposals and we invite local residents to tell us what type of housing they’d like to see.
“We are working hard to make sure the development fits with the local area, and look to commence construction as soon as planning permission is received.”
Steve Loomes, managing director of Strategic Land, Stewart Milne Group, also commented: “This project presents an exciting opportunity to introduce more quality family homes to the Aberdeen property market, and help address the shortfall in supply.
“We look forward to presenting our plans and working closely with the local community in developing an innovative concept that fulfils the site’s full potential and is of maximum benefit to both new and existing residents.” 120 views
