C4di, the centre for design and innovation at the Robert Gordon University, helps businesses to develop innovative products and services, which not only meet but exceed the expectations of their customers.
With a strong track record in supporting companies in the food and drink sector, c4di will be running an interactive workshop for the Grampian Food Forum on the theme of innovation.
Graham Grant, principal designer for c4di, will lead the workshop will help companies look at how they come up with new ideas for products and services, and introduce a range of techniques to make the process of innovation easier.
Graham will introduce a variety of approaches to innovation, particularly looking at how businesses can uncover insights from their customers, and how these insights can drive innovations in their products, processes, services, communications and packaging. The workshop will end with an exercise exploring how companies can work collaboratively to develop new products and services.
Innovation and Technology Group events are aimed at representatives within food and drink companies who have responsibility for production, legislation, quality assurance/control, technical support, environmental management and product development.
20 places are available to representatives of relevant companies based in Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire and Moray. The event is free of charge and includes a buffet to allow time for discussion with guest speakers and fellow delegates.
