IT COMPANY APPOINTS NEW TECHNICAL DIRECTOR

Clark Integrated Technologies, the Aberdeenshire-based IT company, has appointed Ian Stewart as its Technical Director.

Ian Stewart joins Clark from Nimbus DR, where he was also Technical Director, and previously worked in the same role at Aberdeen-based Amor Group.

Ian brings to Clark a wealth of experience, having worked in varying IT roles across a number of sectors over the past 13 years.

Clark Integrated Technologies offers integrated ICT solutions to clients to improve efficiencies and streamline procedures, including custom web application development, backed by a dedicated managed services team to provide ongoing support.

In his new position, Ian will be responsible for ensuring the high standard of service is maintained through a time of unprecedented growth and expansion at the company.

He said: “I am really looking forward to joining what seems to be a forward thinking company with a strong existing team. There’s also a real freshness about the whole company in terms of their approach to their staff and the new branding, so I’m really excited about that.

“What attracted me to the company was mainly the ethos of the current board in terms of their commitment to service excellence and to their staff. I believe that this is a company that values the contribution of their employees.

“I have a lot of experience from my time at Nimbus and Amor Group and look forward to using this to help position Clark as the number one provider of integrated ICT solutions in the North-east and further afield.”

Ian is married to Hannah and the couple have three young children.

Clark Integrated Technologies, formerly Clark Computers, was set up in 1991 by then farmer Graham Clark. The business originally provided IT solutions to the agriculture industry and then moved into providing IT support to small and medium businesses across all industry sectors.
