Jesmond Drive to close for urgent repairs

A section of Jesmond Drive will be closed during off peak hours tomorrow and on Wednesday [13 and 14 December] for urgent manhole and carriageway repair work.

The road will be closed between the Whitestripes Avenue and Whitestripes Way junctions from 10am until 3pm on both days.

The diversion route is via Whitestripes Avenue, the Parkway and Scotstown Road.
