Jools Holland’s Autumn Tour 2010

It was announced today that Jools Holland’s Autumn Tour 2010 will be appearing at the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre’s (AECC’s) Press & Journal Arena on Thursday 18th November 2010.

He will be joined for the first time by one of the UK’s most enduring and acclaimed vocalist, performer and songwriter, Alison Moyet. His regular featured vocalists, legendary Ruby Turner and soulful Louise Marshall, will also be joining his tour to make sure it will be an evening of spectacular singing and swinging.

Brian Horsburgh, Managing Director of AECC, says, “We are thrilled to announce that Jools will be appearing at the AECC for the first time. With his vocalists and the Rhythm & Blues Orchestra the night should prove to be a delight for North East music fans!”

Jools Holland also commented, “These are shaping up to be some of our best shows yet. Not only do we have the truly remarkable talents of Ruby Turner and Louise Marshall, but we will be joined for the first time by the incredible Alison Moyet. Her voice is truly unique and has a blues and soul quality that fits perfectly into the Rhythm & Blues Orchestra party.”

This annual event has seen Jools Holland and his Rhythm & Blues Orchestra perform to 4 and a half million people around the UK. Ska / Reggae icon Rico Rodriguez will also join the tour.
