KONGBSERG MARITIME ANNOUNCES SUBSEA SEMINAR 2011

Kongsberg Maritime, global leaders of marine technology, today announce that they will be holding a subsea technology seminar event on the 22nd November at the Mercure Ardoe House Hotel. The theme of this year’s event is ‘Integrating a New Generation of Technology’ and will be hosted by Kongsberg Maritime Ltd, based in Aberdeen.

The Kongsberg Maritime Subsea Seminar 2011 will feature key speakers from across Europe, who will showcase the latest data gathered using market-leading underwater equipment, and guide delegates through the application of this technology during recent high-performance operations. Topics covered on the day will include the application of subsea technology of autonomous underwater vehicles, high-precision multibeam integration for remotely operated vehicles, inertial navigation and post-processing.

David Shand, general manager – offshore at Kongsberg Maritime says, “Although there will be a technical element to proceedings, the presentations will focus on the application of subsea equipment during recent projects, the resulting data and conclusions that have been drawn from this data.

“The event aims to enhance the technical and practical knowledge amongst companies and individuals, ensuring that all users are maximising productivity of their equipment, helping to increase project efficiency and drive down costs. Delegates will also be introduced to new technology and hear how to use integration of systems to achieve the best results.”

The Kongsberg Maritime Subsea Seminar 2011 is free to attend for all relevant parties and will take place on Tuesday 22 November 2011 at the Mercure Ardoe House Hotel in Aberdeen.
