Local Beer Festival shaping up to be best yet!A local North East Beer Festival is set to be the best in the 3 years that it has been running! Deeside Beer Festival formely known as Macbethfest is running this weekend 13th & 14th May at Deeside Activity Park. “This year we are having 18 beers from Deeside Brewery, Angus Ales and also the Burnside Brewery, which is the most we have ever had and hopefully the sun will shine like the past 2 years and bring out the crowds” said Rob James of Deeside Brewery.
The Beer festival will run from 3 pm till 11 pm with a chance to sample all 18 beers and there will also be a famous Cairnton Aberdeen Angus Beef BBQ on the go aswell.
“The number of people attending the beer festival has increased in the past 2 years and this year is shaping up to be the same. We run a bus from Aberdeen to the park and back again which is a huge benefit to people coming out from the city. It is a great atmosphere with families sitting outside having a BBQ in the early evening to then the serious beer drinkers staying to taste all the beers until the end.” Said Fiona from Deeside Activity Park.
Deeside Beer Festival is a 3 day event with a relay race on Wednesday 11th May, the main Beer Festival on Friday 13th May and finishing with a great ceilidh with renowned local ceilidh band Clachan Yell on Saturday 14th May at 8 pm.
