LOCAL LAW FIRM WINS PRESTIGIOUS NATIONAL AWARD

Local firm Aberdein Considine scooped a prestigious industry award last night (Thursday, September 8).

Aberdein Considine won the Law Firm of the Year accolade at the Law Awards of Scotland 2011 held at the Hilton Hotel, Glasgow. The annual award recognises excellence within the legal profession in Scotland

The firm beat off stiff competition from long established Central Belt firms to win the coveted award for the first time in its history.

The awards process involved the firm being judged against a range of criteria, including strategic vision, improved financial performance and growth, excellence in chosen fields of expertise and commitment to staff development.

The firm’s managing partner, Harvey Aberdein commented: “My partners and I are absolutely delighted to be recognised as being amongst the country’s leading law firms, particularly in this our 30th anniversary year. From very humble beginnings we have grown into a formidable legal, property and financial practice.
