Management PlusNEW COURSE STARTS TUESDAY 29 MARCH 2011!!!!! Limited Places Remaining Management plus is a year-long executive development programme; focusing on the fundamental topics required for all successful managers. Whether you are new to post, refreshing knowledge or building on years of practical experience; management plus builds confident leaders through practical and classroom based exercises. Units delivered in depth include:
“management plus is a brilliant opportunity to reflect on my individual management style in comparison to others, to apply new knowledge to my everyday work environment and learn about best practice.” CNR International
Management plus is accredited by Nottingham Trent University (NTU) Business School; one of the leading business institutions in the country. Successful completion of all course work and attendance at workshops will result in a Professional Certificate in Management (PCiM).
The PCiM is at third year undergraduate university level i.e. last year of study. In that sense it is at degree level and has 40 credits. The distinction mark for assignments is 70% - 100%. This is the same as a first class honours degree in most institutions so those who achieved this would be consistently demonstrating a high performance level.
Dedicated workshop sessions are coordinated to support delegate learning. The workshops are scheduled once per month on a variety of days to suit delegates hectic working lives. These face to face events introduce key management theories and encourage active discussion, collaboration and action planning between delegates. They provide a valuable opportunity to discuss how new concepts can be applied in the workplace in a variety of sectors.
Fully supported by Concepts and Applications Guides for every unit, management plus blends learner self-study with taught sessions; providing an excellent balance for all learner styles.
“All the materials are good quality, interesting and a nice size for stuffing in your bag as you commute to work or travel abroad” GE Oil and Gas
No previous study is required: delegates must simply be motivated towards their own personal development and have the support of their business and line managers.
The new management plus course starts on Tuesday 29 March 2011. To find out more information about the programme or to enrol, please contact Fiona Fernie on 01224 343917 or email fiona.fernie@agcc.co.uk |
