MANSELL ANNOUNCES KEY PROMOTION WITHIN SCOTLAND DIVISION

Leading construction company Mansell has announced a key internal promotion within its Scotland Division.

The firm has promoted Iain Lumsden, 45, from Area Director for Elgin to Regional Director for Mansell’s North Scotland Business Unit.

Iain’s new role will see him lead both the firm’s Elgin and Aberdeen offices, with the aim of further cementing Mansell’s position as the leading regional contractor in the North of Scotland.

Iain – who has almost 30 years’ experience in the construction industry – joined Mansell in 1993 and has since held a number of positions within the firm, progressing from a Contract Surveyor to Commercial Manager, before taking up the General Manager’s role in Elgin.

Iain was promoted to Area Director for Mansell’s Elgin operations in October 2008, positioning the business unit as the main service provider of choice in the Moray, Highland and Northern Aberdeenshire areas.

Iain commented on his promotion: "The construction industry is currently going through a challenging period, however, I am confident that with support from our excellent teams in Aberdeen and Elgin that I can continue to develop our customer focused approach to the delivery of reliable and high quality construction services.

“I have no doubt that the significant financial strength of our business will also be a key consideration of our customers when continuing to select Mansell as their contractor of choice throughout the North of Scotland."
