MANSELL COMPLETES £6M PROJECT FOR HUNTAVEN PROPERTIES

The Aberdeen office of leading construction company Mansell has completed a major project for Huntaven Properties.

The £6M contract involved Mansell designing and building a 40,000 sq ft workshop with adjoining pipeyard and car park for the company – which is part of the Hunting Energy Services Group – at its Fordoun base, which sits on a former WWII airfield.

Mansell is also currently in the process of constructing a new extension at Hunting’s existing office and workshop at Badentoy, Portlethen, in an additional project also worth around £6million, which should be completed in September.

Both contracts were awarded on the back of previous work which Mansell has completed for the Hunting Energy Services Group, to construct open plan offices, meeting rooms and kitchens, together with staff mess room and changing areas at Fordoun.

Mansell’s Managing Director in Scotland, George Hood, said: “We are delighted to have completed this latest major project so successfully.

“Having previously worked with the Hunting Energy Services Group, we were extremely pleased to be awarded this additional contract, alongside the project which is also currently underway at the Badentoy site.

“These positive developments all highlight the excellent working relationship which Mansell has with Hunting and we hope the new facilities play a key role in the group’s future success and growth.”
