MAXOIL INTRODUCES NEW PORTFOLIO OF SPECIALIST INDUSTRY COURSESAberdeen-headquartered oil and gas consultancy, Maxoil Solutions (Maxoil), has expanded its range of services through launching a range of specialist courses that directly address current training and development needs within the industry. Founded within the core disciplines of process engineering and production chemistry, the courses have been devised - and will be delivered - by Maxoil’s consultants who have considerable operational knowledge and experience in upstream oil and gas procedures. This recent move to training provision, therefore, marks a logical expansion of the company’s core service capability.
The new portfolio comprises six individual courses: Production Chemistry and Flow Assurance; Produced Water Management; Separation and Gas Treatment; Gas Processing and Transport; Water Injection; and Sand Management.
Gerard Runham, Technical Consultant at Maxoil, commented: “With such a broad spectrum of knowledge and experience within Maxoil, we are in an excellent position to provide specialist training. A client may be aware of knowledge gaps in their personnel, from basic principles to specific issues that existing staff may be encountering. We can now address these needs by providing training packages that have a strong technical input and are informed by field experience.”
These Maxoil courses are now available, offering clients the choice of having them delivered in-house at the consultancy’s Aberdeen headquarters or on their own premises if preferred. The flexible composition of the courses also allows them to be tailored to client’s specific needs and areas of specialism.
Gerard added: “We believe that flexibility and responsiveness to market trends are vital to the success of any business. Industry continues to go through cycles in terms of focus areas and with the launch of these courses Maxoil is well-positioned to respond to these needs. Maxoil provides applied training on hot topics addressing effective process optimisation and efficient separation practices, as well as changes in produced water management and environmental impact strategies, e.g. total toxicity in overboard discharge water.”
Maxoil Solutions offers a range of process engineering and production chemistry consultancy services to the global oil and gas industry to enable clients to achieve process performance optimisation. Maxoil achieves this by applying effective knowledge to new projects and operating assets gained from actual operations experience.
The company has specialist areas of expertise in operations assurance, flow assurance, fluids separation, produced water management, sand and solids mitigation, gas treatment and transport, plant troubleshooting, advanced diagnostics and de-bottlenecking.
