Policy and lobbying

The Chamber has run various high profile campaigns in response to concerns from Chamber members on a number of different issues. AGCC has lobbied heavily on the issue of Non-Domestic Rates and its impact on businesses. AGCC has also campaigned to support the development of the AWPR. In bringing vast improvements to the road network the Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route will also have a positive impact on the local economy through better access to the north-east, along with greater opportunities to integrate private and public transport.
